Miniature Gigabit Ethernet Switch Ideal for Size, Weight & Power

The DuraNET 20-11 Gigabit Ethernet switch reduces size, not capabilities!

The Parvus® DuraNET® 20-11 is an ultra-small form factor (SFF) rugged Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) 8-port Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) switch subsystem optimized for extremely demanding Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) constraints onboard vehicle and aircraft platforms exposed to harsh environmental and noisy electrical conditions (e.g. high altitude, extreme shock & vibe, extended temperatures, humidity, dust & water exposure, noisy EMI, dirty power).

Rugged miniature Ethernet switches are ideal connectivity solution for Size, Weight and Power SWaP constrained platforms. As platform system designers strive to increase mission capabilities, there is a continuous challenge to decrease SWaP, in some platforms, our small form factor 100in3 switch is too big. So we have gone even smaller - industry’s smallest and lightest rugged 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) Switch subsystem.

The Parvus DuraNET 20-11 and DuraNET 20-12 miniature Ethernet Switches are a welcome advancement in size weight and power reduction. These rugged switches are 10in3, weighing around .5 lb. Reduced size does not come at the cost of features.

The DuraNET 20-11 includes 8 ports of fully managed, Layer 2 switching and static Layer 3 routing, accompanied by robust network security and zeroize functionality. Designed to perform optimally in the harshest conditions, comprehensive environmental and EMI qualification testing to MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 standards has been completed - delivering stability and performance.

The DuraNET 20-11 is an ideal network backbone solution for unmanned air systems, helicopters, ground vehicles and other applications with SWaP, performance and reliability constraints. These "pocket sized" miniature Ethernet switch systems are 10% of the size of a traditional small form factor Ethernet switch from Curtiss-Wright and only 25% of the weight of the next lightest Ethernet switch available in our portfolio.

Features:
