International Data Links Symposium
Join us at the annual International Data Links Symposium from December 3 to 6 in Cascais, Portugal. It originated as a Tactical Data Link User’s group sponsored by the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force Link 16 program offices in cooperation with the UK Ministry of Defence. As Link 16 proliferated, the symposium rapidly grew beyond the scope of a program office-sponsored conference, and in 2004, the International Data Link Society (IDLS) was chartered as a non-profit organization to provide a forum for the Tactical Data Link (TDL) community and to facilitate the annual event. The annual symposium is held in various cities throughout the world to facilitate participation by the international community. Visit the show's website to learn more about and/or to register for this year's conference.
At the Curtiss-Wright booth, you can expect to explore our TCG products and services that support Link 16, Link 11, VMF, CESMO, Cursor-on-Target, SADL, JREAP-A, JREAP-C, Serial-J, DIS, SIMPLE, AIS, ADS-B, and GPS data links, and protocols.
David MacDonald, one of our TDL experts, will also conduct an introduction course on Network Management before the symposium. A separate ticket from the IDLS training is required for this through the IDLS event page.
Tactical Data Links Made Easy
We simplify tactical data link (TDL) communication with standards-based solutions that are designed to improve tactical communications. Our solutions reduce the time, risk, and expense of TDL implementation and integration, alleviate interoperability issues, and lower lifecycle maintenance costs for militaries and prime contractors worldwide.
Enable Enhanced Battlefield Situational Awareness Down to the Individual Warfighter
Our tactical data link (TDL) technology makes communication across different tactical networks using different protocols simple for seamless battlefield integration.
