Curtiss-Wright to Add Intel Trusted Execution Technology Support to its TrustedCOTS Data Security Solutions
Intel TXT will expand Curtiss-Wright’s TrustedCOTS capabilities for protecting critical technologies and data in deployed embedded computing systems
INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM 2016 (IDF 2016) – SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (Booth #329) – August 16-18, 2016 – Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions division today announced that it will add support for Intel’s Trusted Execution Technology (TXT) to its TrustedCOTS™ (TCOTS) hardware and software capabilities for protecting critical technologies and data in deployed embedded computing systems. Intel® TXT provides hardware-based security technologies, built into Intel’s silicon, that harden a platform against attacks to the Hypervisor, Operating System or BIOS, malicious rootkit installations, and other software-based attacks. Support for Intel TXT will be available on a select range of Intel processor-based single board computers (SBC) and digital signal processors (DSP) included under Curtiss-Wright’s TCOTS Initiative, which includes open-architecture products, dedicated personnel, and comprehensive processes and services designed to protect critical data and technologies.

About Curtiss-Wright TCOTS Hardware and Software
Curtiss-Wright TCOTS hardware and software is based on its standard commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products and includes security features designed in to enable customers to quickly and economically implement their protection plans for critical technology and data. These products enable customers to begin their system development on standard COTS hardware and software and then move to a secure 100% software and performance compatible version of the product when they are ready to implement their program protection requirements. In addition to protecting hardware at the module and chassis level, TCOTS provides a comprehensive approach to data protection that enables data to be securely stored, retrieved, and moved in a system while allowing only authorized access. TCOTS hardware includes secure network routers for Data-in-Motion solutions as well as secure storage for Data-at-Rest, with support for Type I, FIPS 140-2, FIPS-197, AES-256, and AES-128 encryption.
Availability: TCOTS support for Intel TXT is scheduled to begin in Q4 2016.
