Curtiss-Wright data acquisition units support SLS test data collection goal

Curtiss-Wright honored with five Innovators Awards: three Gold for Parvus DuraMAR 6300, VPX3-673 Assured Position, Navigation and Timing (A-PNT) card, VME-1910 single board computer, and two Silver for ADSR-4003 Advanced Data Server and Recorder and GVDU LCD touchscreen Ground Vehicle Display Unit.

Featured products will include ultra-small form factor mission computers and network switches, rugged high capacity storage solutions - such as the Data Transport System, and size, weight, and power (SWaP)-optimized embedded avionics systems - such as the ultra-lightweight Fortress Crash Protected Recorder.

For use on Norwegian Army’s WiSENT 2 Armored Recovery Vehicle program.

Under the contract, Curtiss-Wright will provide the customer with its AVDU5500 21.5" LCD touchscreen mission display, VRDV7000 dual-channel HD-SDI video recorder, and IUPC8012-03 interface unit.

The demo features PacStar’s IQ-Core Software network management software running on Curtiss-Wright rugged mission computers.

Curtiss-Wright, in collaboration with PacStar, will present a paper on “Managing Next Generation Open Standard Vehicle Electronics Architectures”.
