Curtiss-Wright's Letchworth, UK facility achieved 100% on-time delivery and 100% quality compliance
ASHBURN, Va. – July 10, 2019 – Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions division, a trusted leading supplier of rugged video management solutions, today announced that its facility in Letchworth, UK has been honored with SC21 Silver Award status for the third consecutive year. Supply Chains for the 21st Century (SC21), managed by ADS, is an improvement program designed to accelerate the competitiveness of suppliers within the UK aerospace, defense, and space industries by raising the performance of its supply chains. Suppliers are considered on the basis of their on-time delivery, quality compliance, manufacturing excellence, relationship excellence, and business excellence over a period of twelve months. The prestigious Silver Award specifically recognizes above 95.0% on-time delivery and 99.5% quality compliance, for which Curtiss-Wright achieved 100% in both categories over the twelve-month period. The SC21 award honors organizations that achieve and maintain the agreed targets in terms of delivery, quality, sustainable improvement, and the associated improvement frameworks (business, manufacturing, and relationship excellence).
