Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions earns Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems’ top supplier quality award for a third straight year
ASHBURN, Va. – September 6, 2016 – Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions division today announced that, for three consecutive years, it was recognized by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) for outstanding supplier quality performance. Raytheon IDS awarded two Defense Solutions facilities with its 5-Star Supplier Excellence Award for their performance during the 2015 calendar year, the highest level of recognition an IDS business supplier can achieve for excellence in quality and performance.
Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems business instituted the annual Supplier Excellence Awards program to recognize suppliers who have provided outstanding service and partnership in exceeding customer requirements. Award candidates are judged on certain criteria, including overall quality, on-time delivery, and demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement. A 5-Star recognition is the highest level of recognition a Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems business supplier can achieve for excellence in quality and performance, and Curtiss-Wright was one of 24 companies selected.

The Curtiss-Wright Defense Solution facilities recognized are the Dayton, Ohio facility, which manufactures Curtiss-Wright’s commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) Data Solutions products, and the Kanata, Ontario, Canada facility, which manufactures COTS modules, including single board computers, networking, and graphics cards.
