Peerless Instrument provides state-of-the-art electronic components, systems and software to the US military. Peerless' advanced instrumentation and control systems are not only used in Navy propulsion systems but provide sophisticated monitoring systems for the gas, oil or petrochemical industries.
 

Problem-solving products and systems

Peerless Instrument was founded in 1939. In1954 it began a long service to the U.S. Navy and continues to comply with MIL-Q-9858A, MIL-I-45208, and IPC/EIA J-STD-001 specifications. Peerless utilizes the BAAN Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program. In addition, Engineering has a Pro-Engineering program resource to enhance the 3-D design and improve design visualization. We continue our tradition of designing and manufacturing advanced, innovative electronics for military and industrial markets. Based in Farmingdale, NY, Peerless became part of the Curtiss-Wright Corporation (NYSE:CW) family of companies in November of 2001. Curtiss-Wright was originally founded by aviation pioneers Orville and Wilbur Wright, and Glenn Curtiss.

Peerless began in 1954 as a service provider to the U.S. Navy's Propulsion Program. Within the military and process industries, Peerless provides embedded systems, ship systems and integration, valve controls, meters and a complete list of services. In addition, Peerless has evolved into an innovative electronics design and manufacturing company. It was acquired by Curtiss-Wright (symbol: NYSE:CW) in November of 2001.

Today, Peerless Instrument represents Curtiss-Wright's comprehensive solution for this diverse, yet demanding market. We have expanded into civilian industrial solutions, and our military solutions are found in all the service branches. Whether the need be hardware, software, sophisticated electronics, unique manufacturing or newer digital and wireless systems, Peerless is developing the technology.
