Cisco IOS XE based 10 GbE Embedded Switch Developed in Alignment with the SOSA™ Technical Standard

The VPX3-623 Cisco Powered Switch from Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions combines the Cisco® Catalyst® ESS9300 Embedded Series Switch Technology with Curtiss-Wright’s industry-leading VPX ruggedization technology to deliver the high-speed and security capabilities needed for real-time, high-bandwidth, mission-critical networking in a CMOSS/SOSA aligned VPX module.

With its zeroization, secure boot, and physical alarm relay capabilities, the VPX3-623 has the crucial security features needed to protect networks from cyber and physical threats. The VPX3-623 runs the widely deployed, trusted, and feature-rich Cisco IOS® XE Software, with extensive options for network isolation and Zero Trust integration. Operators will find the familiar Cisco IOS Command Line Interface (CLI) and management experience shared across the Cisco family.

Additionally, Cisco IOS XE Software also offers a powerful graphical management interface that is built in, called WebUI. The VPX3-623 integrates with IQ-Core® Software for an even more enhanced user experience.

The VPX3-623 ships with Cisco IOS XE Network Advantage features. Unlock powerful routing features, like EIGRP and multiple High Availability protocols (HSRP & VRRP) with the optional Network Advantage licensing.

Cisco licensing as well as maintenance and support is available through Smart Net and customers can take advantage of existing Cisco license arrangements.
