Storage Blade Cards

Rugged, Military-Grade SATA & NVMe Cards

Curtiss-Wright Direct Attached Storage (DAS) cards enable solid-state disks (SSD) to be incorporated in embedded computing systems for a wide range of deployed applications. DAS devices are connected to and used by only one host computer. These data solutions are scalable from 512 Gigabytes up to 64 Terabytes. In addition, some direct-attached storage products feature encryption and sanitization capabilities, like AES-256 bit encryption or NSA 9-12 secure erase, allowing you to protect your sensitive data-at-rest (DAR).

Data Recording

Ruggedized and secure solutions to encrypt, store, retrieve, transport, and archive maps, mission data, digital video, and intelligence in real-time to support ground force operations.

Curtiss-Wright is a trusted leader providing COTS products and open architecture solutions for mission computing, signal processing, graphics, communication fabrics, system and sensing I/O, and data storage. Our family of rugged, SSD-based DAS products are ready off-the-shelf and have been thoroughly tested to the toughest standards. Fielded across the world on varying platforms, our rugged DAS solutions reduce storage latency and enhance storage speed with memory dedicated to one host. While our DAS solutions provide dedicated storage for one host, our network-attached storage (NAS) systems provide storage for all hosts on a network with removable memory cartridges for data transport

Curtiss-Wright specializes in products that are deployed in harsh environments typical of Defense and Aerospace applications. In this rugged domain, the depth and breadth of our experience and expertise are unmatched by any other COTS vendor. Curtiss-Wright has developed rigorous procedures including construction analysis, temperature cycling, and vibration testing to ensure that all parts meet our exacting requirements.  Curtiss-Wright’s COTS products reduce technical and schedule risks for programs both large and small.
