PMC-E2001 100KSPS 16b ADC/DAC PMC
The PMC-E2001 is an application-ready module engineered by Curtiss-Wright to perform precise waveform generation and reconstruction for audio and acoustic applications. A single-width PMC, the PMC-E2001 consists of 16 single-ended outputs that provide 16-bit resolution and simultaneous update rates of >100ksps. The PMC-E2001 combines these outputs on each channel with four differential inputs of 16-bit resolution at a sample rate of up to 96 kHz.
Initially, the second generation iteration of the PMC-E2001 ADC/DAC module is available only in a rugged conduction-cooled format. For information on air-cooled variants, contact Curtiss-Wright.
The PMC-E2001 ADC/DAC PMC module output module features 256x over-sampling delta-sigma digital-to-analog converter technology. Each output channel includes a third order Bessel reconstruction filter, enabling it to perform at >92dB spurious free dynamic range (SFDR).
On the input side, the PMC-E2001 operates with 256x over-sampling delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter technology. Internal filtering enables the module to perform at a signal-to-noise ratio of 86dB.
An external over-sampling clock is available through the front connector. Also available is a user-selectable internal sample clock, which employs a frequency synthesizer that is driven by a precision high stability master oscillator. The oscillator provides high quality sample clock sources with <25ppm/ ºC stability.
