Rugged OpenVPX and VPX Intel-based Single Board Computers
Curtiss-Wright's Intel-based 3U Single Board Computers (SBCs) can support sophisticated defense application deployments in smaller platforms, from ground mobile mission computing to EO/IR on rotor aircraft. These very high performance SBCs are designed around the Intel Core i7 silicon, balancing the powerful processing with high throughput fabric connections using PCIe Gen3. These SBCs also serve as excellent platforms for PMC/XMC products, as well as connect seamlessly to the latest GPGPU products such as the VPX3-716.
In the 3U OpenVPX form factor, these SBCs can be deployed on severely SWaP constrained platforms and ruggedized to operate in harsh environments. Curtiss-Wright supports the long life cycle of military programs by offering new generations of rugged SBCs with backwards pin-compatibility to allow easy system upgrades from older products.
