The VME-194B is the next generation of VME single board computer (SBC) from Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions. It is targeted for applications with moderate processing requirements, low power and cost effectiveness. The VME-194 VME SBC is based on NXP's high performance QorIQ P2020 SOC multi-core processor. The VME-194B provides highperformance processing, and a long list of features and I/O interfaces to satisfy the most demanding requirements of embedded computing.

Available in a full range of environmental build grades, the VME-194B is targeted to the control requirements for rugged, embedded tactical aircraft, armored vehicles and harsh environment naval systems. For retrofit and technology insertion applications, the VME-194B offers a superset of the I/O features of earlier generations of Curtiss-Wright’s VME 18x Power Architecture SBCs.

As a member of Curtiss-Wright’s continuously evolving product line of Power Architecture SBCs including the SVME/DMV-179, 181, 182, 183, 184, 186 and 194 the VME-194B supports the life-cycle model of successive technology insertions throughout a platform’s lifetime.
