The CHAMP-GP3 GPGPU (general purpose graphics processor unit) Application Accelerator brings the latest generation of NVIDIA Maxwell architecture class of graphics processor unit to the rugged deployed application developer. The CHAMP-GP3 packs the punch of a pair of 1536 core GPGPU devices into a 6U OpenVPX form factor providing over 5 TFLOPS of performance. The addition of NVIDIA Maxwell GPGPU technology complements Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions High Performance Embedded Computing (HPEC) portfolio of products that address the complete data flow from sensor to operator: FMC/XMC data acquisition, FPGA-based processing modules, high-density multiprocessor boards, GPGPU co-processors and a large catalog of system level interface products to connect to other computers or display information to human operators.

The CHAMP-GP3 is designed to work with Intel processor-based OpenVPX modules such as the Curtiss-Wright CHAMP-AV9 dual 4th Generation Core i7 multiprocessor board or CHAMP-XD2 Xeon D DSP processor card. The 16-lane Gen2 (Gen3 on roadmap) PCI Express (PCIe) interface presented by each MXM can be used with x8 and x16 capable hosts. 

The CHAMP-GP3 is available in conduction-cooled models.
