OpenHPEC Math Libraries
The OpenHPEC Math Libraries are a key component of Curtiss-Wright’s OpenHPEC Accelerator Suite of best-in-class software development tools. These tools speed, simplify and lower the cost of developing HPEC systems through the use of non-proprietary, open standard based software. A predictable out-of-box experience means the whole staff gets up to speed quickly, with comprehensive training and documentation from Curtiss-Wright.
The Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions DSP function library, OpenHPEC Math Libraries, provides a comprehensive set of C-callable functions which have been optimized to exploit the performance of the SIMD instruction sets of Intel AVX and SSE processors. By using the OpenHPEC Math Libraries, a programmer can ignore the complexities of the SIMD instruction set and focus on the application problem. OpenHPEC Math Libraries are supported on all Intel processor products from Curtiss-Wright.
OpenHPEC Math Libraries provides APIs which are compatible with other popular board vendor function library APIs and also with the open standard Vector Signal Image Processing Library (VSIPL). This greatly simplifies the effort associated with porting existing software from other platforms to Curtiss-Wright hardware. Many functions are available in both single and double precision arithmetic.
