Ultra-compact, scalable & reliable data acquisition systems
The Axon AXN has been optimized to integrate with existing Acra KAM-500 hardware and software. There will be equivalent AXN and ADAU products and Axon AXN shares most characteristics and features with the Axon ADAU. There are some exceptions, which include
- Orange and black color to align with the current product offering
- Only supported in DAS Studio
- Data streaming over Ethernet in iNET-X, IENA and Chapter 10 UDP
- Use similar part naming as legacy Acra KAM-500 products
Rugged Instrumentation System Solutions for Applications with Limited Space
There are several aircraft where there is a very limited amount of space available to install any hardware. This is particularly true for platforms such as missiles and smaller UAVs but is also the case for post-production aircraft, especially military jets and smaller rotorcraft. This white paper examines the challenges and solutions for implementing a compact data acquisition package, with a particular focus on missiles, and proposes a modular solution to best meet tight space and installation time requirements without compromising system flexibility.
Axon Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) Product Family Brochure
For airborne applications where reliability and size, weight, and power (SWaP) are critical, the Curtiss-Wright Axon ADAU family of data acquisition units (DAU) are ready to take flight. Designed leveraging our decades of experience as a trusted, proven leader, ADAUs are future-proof, SWaP-optimized, and available in a variety of flexible configurations to meet your exact program requirements.
Aerospace Instrumentation Brochure
Modern aerospace instrumentation systems can be highly complex, and it can be difficult to know how to meet program needs. It’s not unusual for requirements to change during a campaign and cause significant delays, and data must be captured reliably no matter what – otherwise expensive additional flights will be needed or months of program data could be lost. Read our brochure to learn how you can reduce your risk with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions.
