Miniature Double Wide Data Acquisition System

The TTC-MDW DAU family is optimally designed for those FTI applications, such as hypersonic ordnance and rotorcraft, that require a more compact, balanced solution. The first member of the family, the MDW-2020, is a miniature Double Wide Form Factor wideband data acquisition unit (DAU) designed to interface a variety of analog and digital sensors and encode those sources into a wideband PCM output data stream up to 20 Mbps.

The off-the-shelf data acquisition modules used in the MDW family provide commonality and backward compatibility with Curtiss-Wright TTC MnACQ modules, eliminating the customers learning curve and protecting their prior investment.

Measuring 5.5W x 2.6L x 3.8H (140 x 66 x 97 mm) in an 8-module configuration, the MDW-2020 comes standard with a 50W power supply integrated into the base plate, and can support from 1 to 14 modules. Power supplies are available in configurations optimized to support a wide variety of module combinations.

Aerospace Instrumentation Brochure

Modern aerospace instrumentation systems can be highly complex, and it can be difficult to know how to meet program needs. It’s not unusual for requirements to change during a campaign and cause significant delays, and data must be captured reliably no matter what – otherwise expensive additional flights will be needed or months of program data could be lost. Read our brochure to learn how you can reduce your risk with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions.
