The MTSB-102 is a two channel serial data monitor module for use in Curtiss-Wright’s MnACQ miniature data acquisition units. The MTSB-102 accepts two channels of RS-422 clock, data and enable. The clock signal to the MTSB-102 is constantly present, and values on the data channel are only valid when the input enable signal is set to high.
Messages framed by this enable signal are captured within the MTSB-102 and can be up to 4 kB. Input messages can be collected at rates as high as 20 Mbps. The MTSB-102 has three modes that a given message can be captured with: current value table (CVT), FIFO, and coherent modes. The MTSB-102 receives its power and communicates the collected data to the stack overhead module through the data acquisition system’s internal bus.
