MFPD-102B 2-Channel Frequency/Period/Accumulator Conditioner Module
The MFPD-102B is a 2-channel frequency and period counter module for use in Curtiss-Wright's miniature, stackable data acquisition products. The module is capable of providing the current value of the period of a sinusoidal signal of engine fuel flow, or RPM sensors. Each channel can accept an AC (Analog) differential input, differential digital (RS-422) input, or single-ended digital input. In addition, each channel is configurable in the frequency counter mode, in the average period counter mode, or in the totalizer counter mode. In the totalizer counter mode, the totalizer count is saved during a loss of power.
The count is restored after power is restored. The 24-bit channel data is encoded into data words for transmission in the system data output format. Groups of input channels are formatted as words in the data output format.
Aerospace Instrumentation Brochure
Modern aerospace instrumentation systems can be highly complex, and it can be difficult to know how to meet program needs. It’s not unusual for requirements to change during a campaign and cause significant delays, and data must be captured reliably no matter what – otherwise expensive additional flights will be needed or months of program data could be lost. Read our brochure to learn how you can reduce your risk with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions.
