MVID-301D H.264 High Definition Video/Audio Acquisition Module
The MVID-301D module set adds one channel of H.264 High Definition (HD) or Standard Definition (SD) video/audio acquisition capability to Curtiss-Wright’s MEDAU/MCDAU/MWDAU/MnACQ/ MARM airborne data acquisition units. The module provides H.264 video compression for any one of the video inputs. Effective video compression rate varies from 512Kbps to 20 Mbps. Input pictures are pre-processed with de-interlacing and adjustment of brightness, contrast, and hue. The output frame rate can be decimated down to 1 frame per second, and output resolution can be re-sampled to lower. One mono (low or high level) or one stereo audio channel can be acquired. The compressed video and/or audio are multiplexed into the MPEG-2 transport stream. The module also provides time annotation overlay with programmable positioning.
Aerospace Instrumentation Brochure
Modern aerospace instrumentation systems can be highly complex, and it can be difficult to know how to meet program needs. It’s not unusual for requirements to change during a campaign and cause significant delays, and data must be captured reliably no matter what – otherwise expensive additional flights will be needed or months of program data could be lost. Read our brochure to learn how you can reduce your risk with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions.
