Curtiss-Wright radio frequency (RF) and wireless systems are proven, high-performance, dependable, economical solutions for many applications. These include flight, space, and remote ground based applications requiring accurate transmission of telemetry, digital, wideband, and video data.
We are leading providers of flight termination receivers, airborne telemetry receivers, radar transponders, and telemetry transmitters. These work seamlessly with our ground station product line and provide the best value on the market by including features not found in similar industry solutions while also providing on-time delivery.
We design our RF products with ease of use as a primary goal. They can be easily programmed and implement highly-efficient and stable Advanced Range Telemetry Modulation (ARTM) demodulation. To ensure quality and customer satisfaction, our state-of-the-art facility provides an in-house RF design laboratory, a fully-capable screen room, and an EMI test capability.
We design data acquisition systems, transponders, transmitters, flight termination receivers, and telemetry instrumentation kits (TIK) with our customer in mind. Our modern products include

Range safety
We also supply flight safety products, developed in close consultation with the RCC range safety community. These units are miniature airborne flight termination receivers with tone decoders for flight termination system applications that utilized tone based command messaging. They provide a highly sensitive superheterodyne RF receiver whose center frequency is programmable.
The versatile tone decoder can be programmed to decode 3 or 4 tone sequences, as well as the tone frequencies, and provides command outputs for flight termination devices. They can be enabled for full fail-safe operation, including programmable loss of tone duration.
