Curtiss-Wright’s line of electromechanical linear gear (ELG) drives can be used in a wide range of applications. Consisting of a linear roller screw spindle, they are responsible for transmitting the rotation of the motor linearly. ELG drives can easily be installed in the space occupied by existing elevation hydraulic drives when performing upgrades and/or replacements.
