ASHBURN, Va. – August 4, 2022 – Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions division, a leading supplier of rugged embedded solutions engineered to succeed, announced that it is a proud sponsor of the 13th Annual Warrior Support Golf Outing being held at Bulle Rock Golf Course, Havre De Grace, Maryland, August 4, 2022. In support of this charitable event, Curtiss-Wright is donating $5,000 to sponsor one of the holes during the golf tournament. The annual event supports service members and veteran projects and is hosted by the Maj. Gen. Harry Greene chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA). AUSA is a nonprofit educational and professional development association that strives to educate its members, the public, industry, and Congress about the critical nature of land warfare and the Army’s central role in national defense and inform its members, its communities, and Congress about issues affecting America’s Army and the Soldiers who serve in the Army, Army National Guard, and Army Reserve.
“We are honored to be a sponsor of this wonderful event that helps efforts in support of our service members,” said Chris Wiltsey, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions. “Last year, Curtiss-Wright was honored as one of the winners of the U.S. Army’s recent xTechPlugfest Competition held at the Open Innovation Lab (OIL), Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. We saw it fitting to honor our warfighters by donating our prize award to the Warrior Support Outing and to the Army Fisher House as a way of expressing our deep appreciation to those who serve.”
