MPMC-9365

The Multi-Platform Mission Computer MPMC-9365 mission computer is a leading-edge, flexible and rugged processing system that can be readily configured to meet any military or aerospace requirement. The MPMC-9365 is an integrated information processing system, providing complete hardware and software solutions. The MPMC-9365 leverages Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) technology in application-specific requirements to provide a high-performance, state-of-the-art computing solution.

By utilizing tried and tested Curtiss-Wright COTS products, the MPMC-9365 mission computer is an affordable low-risk computing system designed to meet the harsh environments of many military and commercial computing applications. Circuit cards installed in the system enclosure are isolated from external environmental conditions such as humidity, dust and sand. Cooling is accomplished by thermal transfer between the card edges of the conduction-cooled 3U VPX cards and the sidewalls of the system enclosure, heat is rejected to the environment through air blown down the outside of the side walls by the integral speed-controlled fan. EMI filters and gaskets are employed for system security and increased reliability.

The processing power of the MPMC-9365 mission computer is provided by multiple 3U OpenVPX single-board computers (SBC) which are based on the Intel Core i7 3rd Generation (Ivy Bridge) Quad-Core processor.  In addition, the MPMC-9365-0001 supports two of the VPX3-530 3U VPX AMD Virtex-7 FPGA 4GS/s ADC/DAC modules.
