AXN/TCG/401 Axon Voice-to-Digital Converter
The AXN/TCG/401 is a dual audio-to-digital converter module. At the core of the module is a delta modulator where the delta size depends on the rate of change. This is referred to as Continuously Variable Slope Delta (CVSD) modulation. This delta-modulator outputs a serial stream to a serial-to-parallel converter, the output of which is regularly read over the backplane. For a detailed description of this type of audio encoding, refer to the IRIG-106 standard, Chapter 5.
Aerospace Instrumentation Brochure
Modern aerospace instrumentation systems can be highly complex, and it can be difficult to know how to meet program needs. It’s not unusual for requirements to change during a campaign and cause significant delays, and data must be captured reliably no matter what – otherwise expensive additional flights will be needed or months of program data could be lost. Read our brochure to learn how you can reduce your risk with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions.
Axon Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) Product Family Brochure
