Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions earns Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems’ top supplier quality award for fourth straight year
ASHBURN, Va. – June 27, 2017 – Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions division today announced that, for the fourth year in a row, it was recognized by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) for outstanding supplier quality performance. Raytheon IDS awarded one Defense Solutions facility with its 5-Star Supplier Award for their performance during the 2016 calendar year, the highest level of recognition an IDS business supplier can achieve for excellence in quality and performance. A second Defense Solutions facility was recognized with a 4-Star Supplier Award. Curtiss-Wright was specifically recognized for its ability to maintain 100% on-time delivery, 100% quality assurance and sustainable continuous improvement processes. The 5-Star Supplier Award, which was earned by 24 of Raytheon’s thousands of suppliers, is based on impeccable Quality and Delivery performance and a solid partnership in support of the warfighter.

The Curtiss-Wright Defense Solution facility recognized by Raytheon with their 5-Star Supplier Award for 2016 is the Dayton, Ohio facility, which manufactures Curtiss-Wright’s commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) Data Solutions products. The Kanata, Ontario, Canada facility, which manufactures COTS modules, including single board computers, networking and graphics cards, was recognized with the 4-Star Supplier Award.
