High-performance, field-proven bus monitors for flight test & avionics
Our KAM-500 bus monitors are used to capture data from a wide variety of avionics busses, such as ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC-664 pt7, and RS-232/422/485. These modules are ideal for use in rugged data acquisition chassis for flight test instrumentation and other avionics applications. To ensure efficient use of bandwidth, many modules only generate packets once a threshold amount has been stored. Additionally, a programmable timeout ensures that smaller packets are generated even during periods of low activity on the bus, thereby allowing real-time analysis and processing of acquired messages. When there is no traffic, no packets are generated.
